Ms. Bellamy is responsible for CIC’s relations with partner institutions and organizations, governments, and financial supporters. She also works on Prevention Strategies and Managing Global Insecurity – CIC’s joint project with Brookings Institution and Stanford University. Prior to CIC, Ms. Bellamy coordinated a program on economic and energy security in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the University for Peace of the United Nations - where she had previously launched and managed a program on Youth Unemployment and Violence in Brazil and Nigeria. Ms. Bellamy has also worked in Sierra Leone and Guinea with the International Rescue Committee. She received an MPhil from Trinity College, Dublin in Peace Studies. She is currently writing a textbook on development and security.
